Venue Setting
Dining and catering menus are created by Food Network’s Chef and restaurateur Geoffrey Zakarian and executed by his staff. Our on-site restaurant, The National, is acknowledged as one of the New York Times’ 50 favorite restaurants, realizing Zakarian’s vision of a contemporary New York grand café.
On the second floor are five versatile, customizable private salons, accessible from The Benjamin hotel and The National, seating up to 80 guests and accommodating 200 for standing receptions. Each salon provides a residential feel with natural light from their over-sized windows that overlook the Midtown bustle.
Originally designed as a residential-style hotel with wind-swept terraces to entertain, the Neo-Romanesque style edifice, a New York City Landmark, exudes the ambiance of a private club. The Benjamin promises to assist guests to make the best of their stay with thoughtful services and amenities including the Les Clefs d'Or Concierge and The Benjamin's comprehensive sleep program.
