Singita Sweni Lodge in South Africa is more than just a string of luxury treehouses built to assimilate into the expansive and untouched land on which it sits. Singita, meaning "Place of Miracles," lives up to its name with its mission to conserve, preserve and protect the acres of wildlife it calls home.
For you, this means checking into an elegant and private tree house with floor to ceiling windows. As Singita unveils their newly restored Sweni Lodge which lies on the riverbanks in the Kruger National Park, they make it impossible to resist elegant safari living.

- Design:
Situated at the edge of the Sweni River, this secret sanctuary of seven romantic suites resembles a series of designer tree houses. Enveloped by a dense canopy of verdant trees, including the area’s signature euphorbias, it is in perfect harmony with the surrounding wilderness. Idyllic proximity to the river offers up-close bird watching and unhindered sightings of the incredible number of animals that wander down to drink or wallow in the water. Dressed in earthy chocolate and calming pistachio shades that echo the deep, dark hues of the riverine forest, the suites are svelte wood and glass boxes designed to float above the river.
Each treehouse is connected to the other via elevated wooden walkways that are nestled in the branches of the surrounding trees. Living spaces are conducive to open-air living with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, timber decks for private dining and a magical outdoor shower and star bed for intimate ‘camp-outs’.- Extra Perks:
