Venue Features
The Scene:
Our property is one of Australia's significant heritage and environmental landmarks preserved within 30 stunning hectares of Sydney Harbour National Park, overlooking Sydney Harbour. Powerfully inspiring and truly unique, Q Station is located at the historic site of the former Quarantine Station at North Head. There's nothing like feeling history's power with Q Station's expansive and historic surrounds.

There are two arrival points - the main entrance for vehicular access and the wharf by boat, both of which have a unique welcome feel. No driving is permitted on-site, but there are shuttle buses available. The invigorating, restorative beauty of the Australian bush and the salt sea air can be experienced immediately upon arrival.

The historical buildings in the property have been preserved to retain an important part of Australian history. Refurbishment work has been done however for modern comforts. Photo opportunities abound from the beautiful historical buildings, a glasshouse and former quarantine facilities, to the stunning Australian bushland and headland overlooking the magnificent Sydney harbour.
Design:
The venue buildings have been preserved to retain the historical charm of yesteryear, with unique heritage items adorning the rooms.
Standout Venue Features:

The expansive grounds of our property provide a serene environment which feels a world away. Storyboards are around the grounds to provide an insight to the history of the various areas in the property.

Guest lounges are available for relaxing in, refurbished but still retaining aspects of their former life which includes a First Class dining room and a First Class kitchen.

There is a beach that can be accessed easily and a wharf area with stunning views of Sydney harbour. The on-site restaurant and bar is located in the wharf area and an additional Hospitality Suite for weddings is available, where the party can kick on in the bar after the reception dinner is over.

A Visitor Centre Museum is on-site, showcasing the history of the Quarantine Station. Ghost tours are also available at the Hospital Precinct.
