- The Scene:
One of the first things guests notice upon entering Wildberry Farm is the sweeping serenity. Occasionally, visitors can detect faint melodies of surrounding sounds—children playing in the distance, the babel of the fountain in the Ceremony Pond, a train bustling into town. As they emerge onto the dirt road that leads them about the property, they begin to experience the world inside Wildberry Farm. Just beyond our beautiful bridal cottage, the Atkinson House, and our functioning red tractor barn, guests can peer into the past through our Historic Pack House and Tobacco Barn. Just after passing these structures, they can meander toward our Barn nestled at the back of the property, where many of our event hosts choose to celebrate.
- Design:
Wildberry Farm is an expansive 32-acre farm-styled event venue, located in Rains, South Carolina, just outside of historic Marion.
Wildberry Farm is compromised of four ideal event and ceremony spaces:
- The Barn: At approximately 9300 square feet of climate-controlled indoor and outdoor covered space, the Barn serves as fun and comfortable venue for events at any time of year. Equipped with 160 white Chiavari chairs; antique barnwood bars; wrought-iron-encased sphere chandeliers; a groom's TV lounge; an HD projector; and a surround sound system, the Barn is where the magic happens. Feel free to let loose, turn up the music and create a night full of extraordinary memories.- The Loft: As a complimentary rental feature, Wildberry Farm offers a beautiful one-bedroom house that is simultaneously rustic and refined. Envision exposed beams, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and one-of-a-kind artwork. The Loft’s open floor plan creates the perfect space for the bride and her ‘maids to enjoy the final moments before, “I do.” Whether cooking breakfast, glamming up, or clinking mimosas, the bride can begin the day of her dreams in the Loft. Then, after the bride slips on her gown, meets her mister at the altar, and celebrates in the Barn, she and her new hubby can return to the Loft for the night, as Mr. & Mrs.
- The Ceremony Pond: Settled between stretches of white fencing and towering Oaks, the Ceremony Pond is often deemed one of Wildberry Farm’s most tranquil locations. The Ceremony Pond is an ideal place to walk down the aisle, capture post-wedding photos, or even spend cocktail hour. Whether guests are enchanted by the rays of sunlight streaming through surrounding trees or are captivated by the ribbons of water cascading from the fountain, this space is sure to impress.
- The Atkinson House: The Atkinson House is a highly adaptable climate-controlled space that is designed to accommodate all seasons. This beautiful one room building can serve a number of purposes. On a couple’s big day, the Atkinson House can serve as a location for cocktails or even an alternate ceremony location, should weather necessitate.
