Venue Setting

The historic Casino San Clemente, built in 1937 as the jewel of young San Clemente, became the dance hall favorite of Hollywood celebrities visiting by car down the coast or via the PCH rail line nearby. Judy Garland sang in our Grand Ballroom; Mickey Rooney performed during the dinner theater heyday. Cesar Romeo, Dorothy Lamour, and many other glamorous visitors graced our halls. Recently restored with loving care, the Casino San Clemente dance hall is now open for celebrations of all types. Brides favor the seaside location with beach photo opportunities, our rose garden entrance and the romantic history of our hallways. Our private Rock Garden serves as a greenscape for ceremonies; the Grand Ballroom with historic stage and dance floor, can easily accommodate 250 seated guests under its iconic wooden dome. Our ocean view Patio of the Stars serves as a cozy intermission cocktail hour with our original wood burning fireplace. Song and dance can continue till 1am in the grand tradition of the Casino San Clemente.

Catering charges would be negotiated with one of our several Preferred Caterers.
Venue rental charges include use of our ceremony chairs, dining chairs and tables as well as other listed amenity/decor items, as available.
Security staff charges would be added - one guard per 75 guests.  Security deposit would also be required.

Design:
The Casino San Clemente boasts the iconic domed red roof modeled after the historic casino on nearby Catalina Island. In fact, rumor has it our front door was so situated as to directly face the door of the Casino Catalina, albeit 30 miles across the sea.
Standout Venue Features:
The public beach is within view and many brides choose a seaside photo shoot for their special day. There are other adjoining historic structures such as the Ole Hanson Beach Club or Miramar Theater that offer interesting backdrops as well.
Extra Perks:
The Casino San Clemente can provide up to 200 folding ceremony chairs for Rock Garden weddings. Your venue rental fee includes set up and tear down according to the Coordinators CAD. We also offer up to 200 Chivari dining chairs, 25-60" round dining tables, 6 cocktail tables, various assorted tables such as sweetheart table, buffet tables, etc. We also offer our vintage wood rolling tables for gift collection or photo display and antique candle stands among other decor amenities.

Rock Garden:
Outdoor private garden often used for ceremonies. Green grass exterior with large DG circle for easy ceremony chair placement. Historic outdoor fireplace often used for ceremony focal point.

Grand Ballroom:
Iconic domed historic Ballroom with built in stage with dressing rooms behind, 20' X 20' oak dance floor and seating for 250 guests. Exits lead to Lobby Lounge, History Hall, Rock Garden and also buffet area.

West Wing:
Ocean view intimate L-shape room with warm wooden beam ceiling and original cement flooring, opening to the adjoining Patio of the Stars.

The Casino is proud to house our own neighborhood cafe, Ellie's Table at North Beach, a perfect spot for planning meetings or small rehearsal dinners. Operated by our own Exclusive Catering partner, Jay's Catering, Ellie's serves up fresh french pastries, coffees, palm sandwiches and healthy soups and salads daily. Ocean view seating inside or outside on deck or picnic tables under the trees.
Bars & Lounges:
Celebrations make use of our Lobby Lounge across from History Hall at the entry of the main building, with french doors to the ocean view Patio of the Stars.
