Award-winning luxury resort Soneva Kiri is located on Thailand’s fourth largest but least populated island, Koh Kood - just one hour by private plane south-east of Bangkok. It offers an unrivalled combination of luxury, an integral environmental approach, authentic Thai experiences and mouth-watering organic food.

Soneva Kiri Resort comprises 35 vast pool villas on beach level, hillsides or cliff tops, all overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. Available to rent or purchase, all have impossibly chic furnishings, personal electric buggies and impeccable service courtesy of Mr./Ms. Friday private butlers.

Highlights include the open-air Cinema Paradiso, a home-made chocolate and ice cream parlour, a high-tech Observatory, a manta ray shaped children’s Den and the spectacular Treetop Dining Pod.

Soneva Kiri has also recently began offering a twice weekly flight by private plane to Siem Reap in Cambodia, home to the captivating world heritage wonders of Angkor Wat.

Soneva Kiri has a sister resort Soneva Fushi (1995), in the Maldives and forms part of the Soneva Group. The Group is steadfast in leading the hospitality industry in environmentally responsible tourism.

Cinema Paradiso
Watch the stars, under the stars at Cinema Paradiso at Soneva Kiri. Enjoy a classic film at our magical outdoor cinema with an overwater screen in the middle of our reservoir lagoon.
Cinema Paradiso has been referred to as Mother Nature’s amphitheatre. It presents classic movies set beneath a star-bejewelled canopy and an auditorium of personal loungers. Cocktail service and the mandatory hot buttered popcorn, complemented by a gourmet canapé menu, complete the soiree to remember.
Movies are screened on a complimentary basis for guests, and the cinema can also be rented out for personal screenings on request - An unforgettable experience.
Observatory
We’ve always been fascinated by the night sky. Its thick, impenetrable darkness scattered with glimmering specks of light.Here, on remote Koh Kood, we felt a sense of wonder as we stared into its open sky, far from the obscuring lights of civilization. That’s why we were inspired to build a state-of-the-art observatory. With the infectious passion of our visiting astronomers, you’ll soon be identifying constellations, counting the moons of Jupiter and peering at the graceful halo of Saturn’s translucent ring.

Welcome to our The View experience.
We are a progressive restaurant using the freshest local ingredients applied with European cooking techniques and lots of love.Items on our menu change daily grooving with the cycles of our organic garden and trusted purveyors. All our products are cruelty free, slow grown, organic and gifts from our own garden wherever possible.

“The Beach”
“The Beach” is the place to chill out in our open air dining venue at the southern tip of the resort, the seating comprises of interspersed mats and cushions around the central cooking pit and wood fired oven. This area is ideal for special occasions and romantic dinners, as it’s conveniently located some distance from the resort.
