Venue Setting

The breathtaking grounds, gorgeous gardens and lavish décor of Riverwood Mansion have made it the seat of Southern hospitality since the late 1700s. The grand Greek Revival columns and entryway along with the black Egyptian marble fireplaces, and grand chandeliers lend a certain Southern sophistication to the mansion that inspires classic romance. It’s easy to get swept away by the grandeur of the space and the grounds, which are lined with towering magnolias whose sweet blooms make the grounds all the more romantic. Whether you're looking for a vintage or modern feel for your event, both seamlessly compliment the ornate architectural elements and period details of the mansion. The Scene:
Riverwood Mansion is one of Nashville’s historical treasures. The Metropolitan Historical Commission has identified it as one of Nashville’s most significant historic structures. Built in the late 1790′s among its original 2,500 acres, Riverwood is one of Nashville’s oldest homes, and at 9,200 square feet, it is one of the largest. Known for its lavish parties, with famous guests including seven U.S. presidents. We continue the tradition of making unforgettable memories.

Today, the property is set on 8 acres of manicured grounds near The Cumberland River. With an all seasons garden, interior access to the historic mansion, and an onsite pavilion, Riverwood Mansion offers a range of flexible event space both indoors and out.
