Sweetly special, this soiree spot located in an old house at a working winery is the JAM.
A family-run farm for almost half a century, natural wines are made here in a time-honored tradition and less is always more. This vibrant venue, set amid the vines, is an ode to savoring conversation and sipping sweetly under the sun or stars.

Venue Setting
The farm has come a long way since we acquired the property in 2008. When we moved here the old house and the cellar buildings had not been used for over 70 years. André, Adi’s dad, says it looked like ‘bombed Siberia’ but one thing was for sure, Kalmoesfontein was a renovator’s dream and our biggest challenge yet. Ever changing, this creative space is situated in the middle of a working wine farm. Expect chickens in the garden, lazy dogs in the most inconvenient place they can find and peacock cries in the morning. With the most spectacular views in the Swartland and no neighbours near enough to complain about your music, this is sure to be a celebration like no other.
