The Historic Barn, originally built in 1865, has been completely restored to give your guests a true Colorado experience.
Inspired by their own amazing Love Story, owners Tim and Christian have offered their Ranch as an intimate and elegant country setting for weddings, receptions, reunions, corporate events, and basically any excuse to spend fun time with good friends.

Venue Setting

Wow your guests with a classic mountain experience, while getting the personalized attention that you deserve. Inspired by their own love story from Colorado and Hawaii, the owners Tim and Christian have turned their 165-acre ranch into a timeless mountain setting for weddings and receptions for up to 180 guests.
Located just 45 minutes from Denver, DCVR offers several outdoor ceremony sites to choose from.    Whether it is a majestic mountain backdrop, or a sweeping valley with horses, or an intimate circle of boulders and pine trees, one is sure to suit your taste.  And don’t worry, they have indoor back up as well!  

Guests can enjoy cocktail hour while playing lawn games, and offer toasts as you dance under the market lights by a huge custom fireplace (they have two for you to choose from).  

The historic reception Barn, with the Ultimate Man Cave, is the perfect place to give your guests an authentic Colorado experience they will never forget, or opt for the elegance of the Homestead tent with timelessly elegant draped fabric with starlight curtains and glittering chandeliers.  

DCVR also offers overnight on-site accommodations for up to 20 guests.  Customize the day to be uniquely yours.  Simple vendor options make planning the party easy.  Optional in-house financing makes planning the party affordable.

Select the Venue Rental Package that best suits your needs. 
"All Venue Access" = Upgrade available for exclusive use of both the Barn and Homestead Venue sites. 
Paired with the Accommodations upgrade, this gives you 22 hours of fun with family and friends.
"Preferred Venue Only"  = Select either the Homestead Venue (up to 140 guests) or the Barn Venue (up to 180 guests), if you prefer one more than the other.  Enjoy up to 12 hours access on Fridays or Saturdays, up to 11 hours access on Sunday through Thursday.
"Financing" = DCVR now offers in-house financing through an independent third-party company facilitating same-day approval via a simple application to fund all or part of your venue rental fee.

DCVR is thrilled to offer on-site accommodations at the Homestead House for up to 20 guests!
Four queen-size built-in bunk beds will be in the #BestDayEver rooms. Each with privacy curtains, lighting, and even a place for each to plug in cell-phones.  Extra bed in the third #BestDayEver room.
The newly renovated “Master Suite” is a 750 sq ft Honeymoon Suite for the new couple to enjoy privacy, beautiful views, and their own entrance by the Wishing Well.
Fully equipped kitchen for meal prep, if you want to cook.  A great-room with electric fireplace, large-screen TV, games, wi-fi, and poker table for after-hours fun, if you just want to play.

Owners, Tim and Christian, started this Venue as inspired by their own amazing Love Story.
Tim proposed to Christian just 14 days after they first met.  She said "Yes!" and they married just 6 weeks later.  They still celebrate their anniversary every single month and are living proof that "True Love" can happen - and it can LAST!
This is why they turned their Ranch into a Wedding Venue, for other couples to celebrate the culmination of their True Love Story with the family and friends they hold so dear.
Since it's inception, this Venue has supported many local and global charities.  The more weddings are celebrated at this Venue, the more the Venue is able to support those in need around the world.  Like the owners say "Thanks for helping us make the world a better place - one wedding at a time!"

Venue Features
The Scene:

As you wind along Highway 285, you see hills and valleys rising and receding around you. The beautifully forested landscape varies from densely packed pines to rolling pastures dotted with wild mule deer or elk. You think to yourself: "This is truly amazing."

Deer Creek Valley Ranch offers several stunning sites to choose from.  Access them all with the "All Venue Access" package, or select one favorite with the "Preferred Venue" package.
Ceremony choices:
Barn Venue: Lakeside Gazebo with horses grazing in the valley -or- Mountain Bridge Meadow with a stunning mountain backdrop and surrounded by a creek and Aspens 
Homestead Venue: Pine Cathedral with an intimate circle of boulders and pine trees with hand-crafted wooden benches -or- The Hearth with stately pillars, a custom 14' fireplace, and market lights overhead
Cocktail Hour choices:
Barn Venue: Gazebo Game-Site with roping steers, horseshoes, cornhole, ladder golf, etc. -or- the Fireside Patio with market lights and picturesque fireplace
Homestead Venue: Duke's Terrace -or- The Hearth, each site with market lights, roping steers, giant Jenga, giant Connect-4, cornhole, etc. 
Reception choices:
Barn Venue: Historic Barn (orig. built in 1862) with three restored levels including the Loft, the main floor Dance Hall, and the Ultimate Man Cave featuring a custom pool table, poker table, shuffleboard, Xbox, and plenty more to keep everyone entertained
Homestead Venue: Homestead tent with timelessly elegant draped fabric, starlight curtains, and 12 glittering chandeliers. 

Design:

The Barn Venue offers the authentic Colorado feel in the restored three-level Barn, while the Homestead Reception tented area is quite elegant.  Each Venue has stunning outdoor spots for ceremony, each with a different mountain setting and view, so you can select which locale best speaks to you and your vision.
Outdoor cocktail hour with lawn games provides an opportunity for your guests to soak up the best of the Colorado fresh air and enjoy the atmosphere, while you two are getting your once-in-a-lifetime photograps taken.
With two outdoor patios to choose from, you can select the setting for toasts and first dance by a custom fireplace with market lights overhead.
Reception will appeal to either your rustic side or your elegant side.  DCVR has both for you to see and pick which represents the essence of you.

Perched along a heart-shaped lake, the fanciful white Gazebo and it’s large viewing Deck are a stunning ceremony site for a fairy-tale Gazebo wedding. Enjoy beautiful views of the valley as pine-covered hills rise up on either side of you.
