Nestled amongst moss-draped oak trees, Charleston's finest wedding and event venue, Coleman Hall & Chapel, is a jewel-box location for weddings and private events. With its classical lines modeled on landmark Charleston churches, Coleman Chapel greets visitors with traditional red doors, a slate roof, and copper downspouts. The chapel features a two-story soaring interior, with gracious Palladian windows and vintage oak pews. This elegant, light-filled space is completely free of religious symbols, allowing weddings to be customized for individual beliefs and to suit personal preferences. The chapel offers excellent acoustics, eliminating the need for amplification or sound equipment. A balcony within the chapel was specially designed to accommodate the needs of photographers and videographers to easily capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments.
Coleman Hall, adjacent to the chapel, is the perfect setting for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, parties, corporate meetings, or social gatherings. The spacious room is centered around a brick fireplace, features open-beam vaulted ceilings, and a handsome custom-made wood bar where guests can be welcomed with a special libation. French doors open into the walled courtyard, a quaint and secluded setting for guests to mingle under the spreading branches of a signature oak tree. Iron gates and garden walls covered with jasmine wrap guests in the warm embrace of the Lowcountry, as they linger under the stars, or sit on vintage pews under the portico.
