The owner, Jamie, is also an Interior Designer and can help you with all of the important design details. Your wedding or event will be truly unique and stunningly beautiful . We can also assist you with farm activiites including yoga, massage, fishing, wine and whiskey tastings and cooking classes.

Venue Features

The scene:

Our farm and estate property date back to 1812 and has been owned by our family for seven generations. The property is easily accessable from a main highway but is also secluded and private with 350 acres of pasture. The historic farm house and barn provide the perfect setting for celebrations of all kinds!

Design:

Blue Bell Barn provides a wide, airy space perfect for events, parties and celebrations.

Walking into the barn, through the foyer and through the double barn doors is the main hall. Spacious and airy, the main hall is like a breath of fresh air. The interior barn space accommodates approximately 175 guests seated at round tables. With our new stone patio - we can now accomodate up to 350 guests for an event.

Beautiful, rustic rope chandeliers and circular, wooden pendant lights hang from the ceiling, while iron sconces illuminate the walls.

Dark, walnut stained concrete floors and burlap window treatments contrast the neutral, white walls to create the perfect blank canvas for your event decorations to shine.

Off the left side of the entrance and main hall, through large barn doors, is the cozy barn wood bar. The bar doors, walls and fireplace mantel were all hand crafted from reclaimed wood from both our old barn and another Missouri barn.

The wide, wooden bar, created from a feed trough from our old barn, is beautifully lit by three large antique brass, birdcage pendants and surrounded by leather-cushioned barstools.

Comfortable leather armchairs frame the wood-burning fireplace and rustic café tables and chairs provide a cozy, intimate setting for your guests to relax and visit. Burlap curtains drape the windows next to graphite portraits of possible ancestors. Antique mirrors and roe deer antlers over the fireplace complete the room.

A spacious patio and lawn area, on the west side of the barn, overlook acres of our rolling hills with distant views of roaming cows. Left of the barn is our organically grown vegetable field where produce for your event’s meal may originate.

The Bridal Cottage is designed to start the day with the same romance and style as it will finish. Designed specifically for the bride-to-be and bridesmaids, the cottage is comfortably equipped with upholstered seating, ample mirrors, natural light and space for the whole bridal party to relax and prepare for the festivities.

Farm-to-table Catering
We create personalized farm-to-table catering menus for our guests using organic and grass-fed ingredients grown on our farm. Our garden to glass cocktail offerings are seasonally inspired and incorporate cold pressed juice, fresh herbs and fruit from the garden.
