Tell us a little about this wedding!
Jason + Kristie Lee enjoyed a Lunch Reception with us – which provides wonderful value and an opportunity to really make the most of the day! The beautiful couple got ready in different rooms within the hotel on the morning of their special day, clinking glasses with their bridal party. The couple then had a romantic ceremony in Robertson Park (we love hosting ceremonies here, just a skip next door to the venue). After their picture perfect photoshoot around Watsons Bay the pair had their dream wedding reception in our Sunset Room before watching their first sunset as a newlywed couple from our Grand Harbour Bridal Suite.
For their wedding day images, where did they tie the knot? What other venues did they choose for images?
Russell Stafford took some absolutely beautiful photographs for the couple around the private beaches and lush greenery of Watsons Bay beach and Camp Cove. The hotel is close to so many beautiful areas including Hornby Lighthouse, The Gap and Gibsons beach – it’s a paradise.
Did guests eat or drink anything that was especially memorable?
Guests enjoyed the Grand Feast menu in our Sunset Room – every bite of this communal feast situation is memorable. Starting with the freshest Chilled Seafood Platter, followed by portions of 8 Hour Slow Cooked Flinders Island Lamb, BBQ Split Yamba Prawns and much more, then finishing with a house made infamous Smashed Pavlova.
