Head to Mykonos' Hottest Hotel for Your Next Birthday Bash

If you want to know where the best place on the planet is to party on your birthday, look no further than Mykonos. This popular Greek island is hopping with thousands of club goers throughout the summertime, making it a pretty remarkable birthday spot because of its buzzing energy. If you’re able to bring your party crew along for such an adventure, you’ll want to look into staying at Cavotagoo. Classic Mediterranean suites and villas are tucked into the hillside here and there are pools and swimming options galore. It’s a great place to unwind from a long, late night with an extravagant breakfast and a sun soak.

Bring Along the Crew

Cavotagoo offers suites, rooms and villas that share a modern, minimal look so that the focal point is always on the view. Each guest room has its own unique layout. For example, there’s a suite with a plunge pool that’s tucked into a cave overlooking the sea. Perfect for traveling with your party people, there’s also a two-bedroom villa with a glass wall that opens right up a private deck and large pool. Some rooms have cozy couches and terraces while others are all about the water feature, like an indoor jacuzzi or plunge pool.

Sun, Spa and Nourish

On your birthday morning at Cavotagoo, you’ll wake to a spread of fresh fruits, pastries, smoothies, yogurts and cakes, which you can dine on in your room or at the hotel’s pool deck restaurant. Make way from there to the spa for a natural treatment using Greek olive oil and minerals from the Aegean Sea. Next on the agenda is a nap in the sun, either floating on the infinity pool or on the terrace of your suite.

Beyond the Nightlife

If you can drag yourself out of bed early in the morning, a visit into town is best done in the morning when everyone else is still nursing hangovers. Be sure to walk up to the 16th-century windmills to check out the views of the harbor. If you’re interested in getting off the island, Cavotagoo can get you sorted with a private (birthday) yacht for a day of exploring secluded beaches or the secret island of Delos. Prefer a bird’s eye view? A helicopter tour can be arranged from Mykonos to Santorini.
