Viewpoint Brewing, North County's latest brewery (and Del Mar's first), has rolled up it’s doors to share it’s brews and ocean breeze with locals. Featuring an open-concept restaurant with an expansive patio, lounge swings, and sweeping lagoon views, this new spot is the ultimate place to drink a few cold ones and gather with friends during the summer.

Story Behind the Space

Formerly an artisan ceramic studio, the owners of this space converted the original warehouse into a sleek indoor-outdoor brewery-restaurant. With nods to it’s creative past life, the space showcases airy, ceramic hanging planters and recycled beams from the former industrial design.

It's All In The Details 

In a further display of local sourcing and recycling, the communal high-top tables are handcrafted from naturally-felled Torrey Pine trees, a famed species found only in the Coastal regions of San Diego. In addition to beautiful interiors, the space is nestled right along the San Dieguito lagoon, where guests can take in the beauty of the nature preserve and take a post-libation stroll along the coastal trail. Finally, we would be remiss not mention the gorgeous, jewel-cut mirrors and two-toned marble and slate textured walls in the bathrooms: truly Pinterest-worthy.

Elevated bar bites and chef-driven entrees complement the 20 beers on tap at Viewpoint (4 of which are brewed in house!) Vino fans will delight in the extensive wine list as well. After a few drinks you can challenge your pals to a game of skeeball on Viewpoint’s vintage machines, take it outside for a round of corn hole or just lounge on the custom-built swing loungers.
