Once upon a time there was an idyllic Georgian manor house tucked away in the Wiltshire countryside, sitting stealthily on the edge of a picturesque village called Kington Langley. With celebration being an age-old tradition, this exquisite venue has been a setting for cozy and intimate dinners, ceremonies of betrothal, and convocations of old friends and new since 1680. Today, this manor house still stands, as it has been lovingly restored, draped in dramatic and bold colours and patterns, and complemented by the joys of bringing people together over libations and locally-produced cuisine. Barlow & Barlow’s fearless and masterful execution of interior design will make you feel like you’re at Saltburn everyday, complete with a freestanding tub wrapped in Shell Grotto fabric by Fermoie. We cordially invite you to join us in celebrating Kin House, a venue focused on creating the quintessential environment for birthday dinners, private lunches, wild weekends, wellness retreats, or whole house takeovers.

“A place to gather people and be decadent.”
Kin House's ethos is a spirited embrace of gathering; a place where the pursuit of pleasure and the art of connection are celebrated with equal measure. Its mission is to create delightful events that transcend the ordinary. Seeing a gap in the landscape of event venues, Kin House was designed to be the ultimate hotel-style experience, but tailored exclusively to private gatherings.
Located on the edge of the village of Kington Langley in north Wiltshire, Kin House is a Grade II*-listed manor surrounded by walled gardens and private woodland. The team, with over a decade of experience in the party scene in Surrey and the Cotswolds, knows how to curate a bespoke event that's just right. Kin House is available for private hire for a variety of different social settings; from woodland lunches and workshops, to team retreats, launch parties, photoshoots and milestone celebrations. Staying here is like having your favorite hotel all to yourself – think round-the-clock service, comfort, and interiors reminiscent of the childlike nostalgia and whimsy of Alice and Wonderland. Kin House welcomes friends, family, workmates or soul mates – all are invited to experience its special brand of kinship and celebration.

The house is also located conveniently close to Bath, Bristol, and historical sites such as Castle Combe and Highgrove House. This creates an opportunity to balance the imaginative and luxurious experience of Kin House with the fun of exploration.
When we were younger, our desires came from storybooks, conjuring dreams of regal abodes filled with whimsy and charm. With Kin House, that enchanting escape becomes a reality, all thanks to the imaginative flair of Barlow & Barlow. Their daring mix of bold colors and playful patterns outfits the interiors with a blend of elegance and the delightful quirkiness typical of a country manor.
