The holiday season is all about gathering and giving, and nowhere is that more apparent than at The Hoxton in Williamsburg. This new hotel arrived on the scene in September, with 175 beautiful suites and some very rad gathering spaces, and is currently adding a little extra cheer for all to hear. Not only have they brought three geodesic domes into their courtyard along with a whole lot of Christmas trees, but they’re slinging hot chocolate, warm cocktails and selling Christmas trees to raise money for the Coalition for the Homeless.
Winter Domes
Set in the courtyard outside the hotel’s restaurant, Klein’s, the three ultra-cozy domes are filled with seating for groups of eight. It’s as if you’re dining in a space of your own, with furry throw blankets and a ton of that magical, romantic holiday charm. Table service is straight from the Klein’s menu, so you and your guests can dine on anything from American Wagyu Steak Tartare to Charred Up-State Chicken. You can book a dome for lunch, cocktails or dinner right online through Resy. Reservations just opened on December 10, so hop to it if this is the kind of experience you’d like to add to your holiday bucket list.
Cocktails and Christmas Trees for a Cause
The holiday domes are set in a grove of Christmas trees from local shop Crest Hardware and they’re for sale! In fact, 10% of tree sales will be donated to Coalition for the Homeless. Apartment too tiny for a tree? You can still support the cause by purchasing a warm cocktail or hot cocoa for a dollar with 100% of the proceeds also benefiting the coalition.
The More You Know
Can't make it before the holidays? Not a problem. The domes will be set up through February so you can book your dome sans the holiday crowds. We also love the idea of hosting your Galentine's group dinner in a dome for a twist on your annual gal gathering. Inside tip: We also have top secret intel that The Hoxton will be home to Williamsburg’s Smallest Cinema, a tiny theater that’ll be showing movies in the lobby.
