Head inside the Jane Hotel’s latest hotspot and you’ll find a cool, casual dining hub that’s open all day and late into the night on weekends. Known as Old Rose, this little West Village eatery serves up Italian fare in a stylish setup that’s full of sunshine. Open for brunch daily, the casual spot is all about simple, delicious food and minimal, modern ambience. Sounds right up our #bucketlistbrunch alley.

A Stylish Hotspot
With high ceilings, a marble topped bar, a calming color palette and tons of natural light flooding in, Old Rose doesn’t feel old at all. In fact, quite the contrary, this spot has all the modern feels in a space with old world bones. Grab a seat at the bar or along the banquette with your girl squad and get to checking this hotspot off the NYC brunch goals list.

Seasonal, Italian Fare
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are fair play at Old Rose, but brunch is the name of our game. Burrata with tomato on grilled sourdough? Yep, we’ll take it. Olive oil cake with crème fraiche? Yep, we’ll take that too. The fennel, pear and sunchokes salad with ricotta salata also sounds delicious with maybe the fried squid, shrimp and a few pizzas for the table to share. We’ll probably even chase it all down with a couple of margaritas and mezcal palomas to make this brunch an epic one.

The Jane Hotel
Located just inside the West Village’s famed Jane Hotel, you know exactly where you can find a room if you overdo it at brunch. The rooms are a bit like those of an old ship on board a Wes Anderson film. They’re easy for bunking up, so feel free to bring a b(r)unch of your gals along for the experience. And if you end up awake late-night, partying at the Jane Ballroom is a must too.
