- The Scene:
- A little spot in the mountains, where since 1350 there has been a farm estate and mountain pastures. A place where values are still treasured. Where one family farms the land. And where we are still ready to open up new concepts.
Where nature sets the scene:
Untreated wood and timeless natural stone.
Weather-tanned leather and cozy natural materials.
Melting together of internal and external.
Where enjoyment comes from the region:
Crusty farmhouse bread from the wood-fired oven.
Made by hand. Hearty and healthy.
Or the benefits of cooking with wild herbs.
We hold foodstuffs in high esteem as the German name “means of life” suggests.
Where precious oils and practiced hands provide relaxation.
Where warmth is felt through fire and water.
At the end of the day we have the experience: the feeling of living this life in this place with its simple people with their hearts in the right place.
WIESERGUT. Wir nennen es Glück. (We call it hapiness). - Design:

The restaurant and the adjoining cozy room "Stube" conveys immediately comfort. All meals are provided in accordance with the "philosophy of slow food” with many freshly harvested regional products or hand-plucked from our own cottage garden with added aromas from the herb garden. Selected wines and fine spirits but also pure spring water direct from the source provide many moments of happiness at the Wiesergut.
Piazza:
The WIESERGUT Piazza inspires all your senses: see, hear, feel, smell and, most of all, taste. It invites you to simply live for the day, even on a gray day. Maybe you just wish to sit quietly and read the daily newspaper and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee prepared in traditional manner. Maybe you would like to watch the baker as she takes the rustic, freshly baked bread from the oven. Our bread is still made in the original way, with natural stone-milled flour, pure salt and fresh Glemmtal spring water. It is kneaded and formed by hand and baked in the wood-fired oven on the piazza. Served with fresh home-made spreads or butter from the mountain farms. The Piazza is open from 11:30 until 18:00.
Inner Courtyard:To have time means knowing what you want to have time for (and what not!).
In our inner courtyard you will find a wonderful place to withdraw and find peace. The sun shines as you listen to the gentle splashing of the fountain. Enjoy your breakfast here in the morning or a freshly baked cake in the afternoon, served on the terrace and always with a friendly smile. You are welcome to walk through our herb garden and sniff the wonderful different aromas. You will be amazed at the rich and spicy fragrances of these herbal plants. As the evening draws on it is especially lovely in the courtyard: the “Ring of Fire” is lit and you begin the evening with a refreshing aperitif before enjoying the culinary delights of our restaurant. - Bars & Lounges:
- WIESERGUT Bar:
The WIESERGUT Bar is a place where you can relax and review all the super experiences of the day, great and small. As Thomas Merton once so aptly said: "Happiness is not a one-off opportunity of intensity, but of ongoing balance, sequence, rhythm and harmony”. How right he is!
