Whitehall Est. 2015
1915 Whitehall Road, Annapolis, MD, United States
Whitehall's proximity to Washington, DC (45 minutes), Baltimore, MD (45 minutes) and Annapolis (15-20 minutes) and it's location on the western side of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge make accessibility for your guests and vendors a breeze!
There is even enough room to land a helicopter or two on the front lawn! What an entrance or exit!
- Ample Parking Onsite
- The Scene:
When you enter the gates at Whitehall, you feel as though you've stepped back in time. This magnificent property is one of the few remaining open spaces in Annapolis and it's location on the Annapolis side of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge makes it an unparalleled venue in the region. Whitehall’s grounds will be made available for weddings and other events, though the parties will have to be held outside to minimize wear and tear on the historic home. However, the interior of the home may be used for unique bridal and wedding party photographs.
This secluded mansion commands magnificent views of the Chesapeake Bay. The grounds consist of 110 acres of sprawling lawns and fields, bordered by two creeks and Whitehall Bay. Whitehall is 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Annapolis by car or by boat and offers many locations to hold your wedding, wedding reception, or your charity or corporate event.
- Design:
- Built in 1764 before the start of the American Revolution, Whitehall was home to Horatio Sharpe, the last Provincial Governor of Maryland. The house stands as the finest example of Palladian architecture in the country and was the first National Historic Landmark to be designated in the state of Maryland. Whitehall remains remarkably preserved with over 100 acres of gardens, fields and park lands.
- Standout Venue Features:
- Whitehall remains remarkably preserved with over 100 acres of gardens, fields and park lands. The house is set on a mile and a half of Chesapeake Bay shoreline and is one of the last significant open waterfront spaces in Annapolis.
The family foundation that owns and operates Whitehall has only recently decided to open the property up for events. The events will be limited, so yours will be the only event that week. A very exculsive venue.
THIS VENUE DOES NOT HAVE ANY REPORTS AT THIS TIME.
