With multiple event, reception, and dining sites, Whispertree’s facilities can cater up to 150 guests.

While walking the land at Whispertree you just might spot signs of our habitat-regeneration efforts. Listen closely and you'll hear the buzz of honey bees, housed in nature-inspired log hives, and the songs of hundreds of birds, residents and migrators alike. At night, guests can look in awe at the trillions of stars shining their light across the valley.

Venue Features
The scene:

As a sub-watershed feeding Soda Creek and the larger Navarro River Watershed, the land at Whispertree supports fir forests and towering old oaks. Each of the oak trees, in both savannah and forest settings, host over two thousand species of more than human life.

Animals on the land include the more commonly recognized deer and turkey, bobcats, hare and seasonal packs of wild boar. High above the valley, turkey vultures and red-tailed hawks commonly survey the land accompanied by kestrel and the rare bald eagle. At lower elevations, you’ll find families of California quail trotting in packs across the road, scrub Jays and acorn woodpeckers.

The rich natural diversity is unparalleled for the area, giving visitors a robust sense of aliveness and beauty, leading visitors to describe the land as “magical.”

Design:
Our lovingly-appointed spaces have been designed to fit into the natural landscape, the rustic-elegance serving as an ideal backdrop. Beyond the four walls of conventional hotels, Whispertree’s nature-inspired spaces can be customized to meet your needs.
Standout venue features:
All guests are provided access to our 8-foot cedar hot tub, a swimming pond, and six miles of hiking trails with extensive panoramic views of rolling oak-wooded hills across to the sky-line.
Extra perks:
Sole access to the valley/forest trails and a swimming pond. Tree-shaded amphitheater wedding site with 12 market umbrellas and ample wrap-around seating. Multi-use Barn with full catering kitchen and sound system for reception, dancing, and celebration. Included at Barn: 21 picnic tables with benches, six heaters, and six market umbrellas. 48 x 65 Sailcloth Tent with

The Amphitheater
Seats up to 150 guests under the shade of two entwined madrone and oak trees. The adjacent Madrone Yurt offers an air-conditioned retreat space with panoramic valley views.
View: The Amphitheater looks across the valley floor, extending into ever-rolling hills.

The Country Barn
Our newly built Barn hall can be used for indoor ceremonies under 50, for music and dancing, lounging or snack station. Conveniently located behind the barn, a commercial catering kitchen easily serves guests on site or at the adjacent pole tent. The Barn’s shedroof patio has been used for cocktails, dinner and dessert buffets, casual seating, photo booths, and more.
Max capacity: Seating up to 50-60 people.
The Sailcloth Pole Tent
Whispertree’s majestic sailcloth tent accommodates up to 150 people for dining with lower seating capacity if the dance floor is incorporated. It includes dimmable bistro lighting and a power source for music and toasts.
View: The tent is beautifully designed to comfortably protect guests from the elements while retaining expansive views of the valley.
