Venue Features

The scene:: The Hudson Valley is known for its natural beauty and great hiking trails. It’s an amazing destination any season – during the spring and summer months, the fresh mountain air is a welcome break from the city humidity. In the winter, the home is a cozy retreat with fire pits and a wood-burning stove and is less than 40 minutes from Hunter Mountain ski resort. For the ultimate experience, come visit in the fall to see the colorful foliage. Some highlights:

★ Ashokan Quarry Trail (8-minute drive) - A short, highly entertaining hike most people will be able to do in under an hour. It’s very varied in terms of terrain, flora, and views.

★ Kaaterskill Falls (50-minute drive) - The highest cascading waterfall in New York State, dropping 260 feet in two tiers. A must-see!

★ Woodstock (20-minute drive) - This bohemian town is a fun day trip with lots of shops and restaurants. We recommend eating at La Cucina.

★ Clover Brooke Farm: Llama and Alpaca Hikes (40-minute drive) - An animal sanctuary where you can go on a guided hike with llamas and alpacas while you learn how their farm works. Great for groups!

★ Wineries - The Catskills have become a hot spot for New York wineries. We recommend checking out Adair Vineyards (40 minutes), Whitecliff Vineyard (50 minutes), and City Winery (60 minutes).
Design:: Wake up to floor-to-ceiling views of forestry and the distant Catskill mountains. With plenty of hiking trails and a short distance from restaurants, wineries, and shops in neighboring towns like Woodstock and Rhinebeck, this is the perfect retreat to clear your mind.

-Bedrooms-
The property has 3 beautifully designed bedrooms. There is one king bed and two queens, all outfitted with extremely soft Nollapelli sheets so you can get a better night's sleep than at home! The king bedroom has stunning floor-to-ceiling windows and a walk-in closet, while the two queen beds have their own balcony. If you need extra space, we have a luxurious cloud couch that pulls out into the living area.

★There is also a baby crib available, which can be set up upon request.

-Kitchen-
The kitchen is fully outfitted for all of your cooking needs – with a Nespresso coffee maker (pods included), cooking basics (oil, spice rack, salt/pepper), top-grade cookware, appliances like a toaster and a blender, and a dishwasher.

-Workstations-
The property has super-fast WiFi (typically 300+ Mbps) and four amazing state-of-the-art workstations, one of which is a full office. Each is complete with a 38” monitor, 4K camera, high-quality microphone, and ergonomic desk chair. WiFi also extends outside if you want to work outdoors!

-Fitness Center-
The private fitness center is fully available for use with a Peloton, treadmill, Ergatta rower, weight rack, and an infrared sauna. There are also dozens of great hiking/biking trails nearby.

-Living Space-
There are two living areas with couches, Sonos speakers, and smart TVs so you can stream your favorite shows or movies. The upper level has a wood-burning stove, while the lower level has a comfortable cloud couch that converts into a pull-out bed. We also have a record player if you want to bring some of your favorite vinyl with you!

-Outdoors-
The outdoor area is expansive and magical. The pool is fenced in and heated with lounge chairs and umbrellas – it is generally open from May through September, but dates may fluctuate based on the weather. We have several deck areas, which include an outdoor dining table with a grill, a hot tub, and various seating areas.

-Bathrooms-
The home has three full bathrooms and a half bath. We provide luxury bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion), premium towels and robes, and even a Dyson hair dryer so you don’t have to pack your own! The primary bathroom is gorgeous with emerald green ceramic tiling, dual sinks, and even dual showerheads.

This local pizzeria serves brick-oven pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and sides. Outdoor dining with heat lamps is also available. Dogs are welcome outside too!

The Roost:
Looking for an all-day dining spot? This American restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a wide selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, and home-style entrees, which means that there's something on their menu for everyone.

Rough Draft Bar and Books:
This rustic tavern is one of the best places in Kingston to sit back and enjoy a coffee or beer. Forgot to bring your favorite book with you? Don't worry, they also sell books in the shop for all ages! Visit their Facebook page for updates on open mics and events.

Stone House Tavern:
You can add Stone House Tavern to your growing list of homey dining spots near Wander Hudson Valley. Their menu features American cuisine including sandwiches, salads, steaks, burgers, and more.

Santa Fe Uptown:
This upbeat space has a wraparound bar, serving traditional and modern Mexican eats and cocktails. While this dining spot mostly opens for dinner, you may have lunch there on Fridays. Check out their Friday lunch menu on their website.

Colony:
Nothing says Woodstock like an outdoor concert and fresh drinks! Colony dates back to 1929, where, as the tallest building in town, it served as a stopping point for visitors who were on their way up to the Overlook Mountain House. During their stop, they dined and listened to big bands in Colony’s great room. Today, the fun continues with "Open Mikes" on Mondays and the "Best of the Beer Garden Series" on Wednesdays.

Cucina: Country Chic Italian:
For a fine dining experience, Cucina is a modern, country-chic Italian restaurant, located in a restored farmhouse in historic Woodstock, New York. Chef Gianni Scappin has created a social dining experience that offers simple and elegant food.

Stockade Tavern:
If you are in the mood for a world-class, hand-crafted cocktail, look no further than Stockade Tavern. Stockade is a Kingston-based bar known throughout the country for its top-tier mixologists and warm ambiance.

Ole Savannah:
Located on the Kingston Waterfront, in the historic Rondout, Ole Savannah is a bar, restaurant, ice skating rink, and events center altogether. The perfect place for a family-friendly outing or a casual date night or whatever the occasion.

Brunette Wine Bar:
Here's something for wine lovers! Brunette has curated an extensive wine list to satisfy your palate on every occasion! Their selection focuses on organic, biodynamic, and low-intervention wines from all over the world.

West Coast Swing:
If you need a mood booster, attending Hudson Valley West Coast Swing's Tuesday night dance sessions might do wonders for your mental health. Classes are led by the instructor and founder Pam Marshall and Jun Ogata, who specializes in East Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, as well as West Coast Swing.

Early Terrible:
Described by guests as, “a magical treehouse utopia,” Early Terrible is an aesthetically pleasing bar, that serves handcrafted cocktails and tapas. Service here comes with a smile and the atmosphere is nothing short of unique, featuring tree stump tables, fireplaces, and storybook decorations.
