The scene:
From beaches to wineries, Gualala is full of hidden gems. Although the home has so much beauty, there isn’t really a reason to leave – we are a short drive to Cooks Beach, Gualala Point Regional Park, Sea Ranch Golf Links and so much more. Some highlights:

★ Cooks Beach (5-minute drive) - ​​A beautiful sandy beach in a rock-walled cove with free parking. Dogs are allowed on leashes.

★ Gualala Point Regional Park (10-minute drive) - Take a hike along Bluff Trail and enjoy gorgeous views, along with biking, bird-watching, fishing, and paddling.

★ Sea Ranch Golf Links (7-minute drive) - An 18-hole golf course taking you on various seaside terrain.

★ B. Bryan Preserve (15-minute drive) - A private preserve for endangered species with self-guided and guided tours.
Design:
This peaceful paradise has 3 bedrooms each equipped with an ensuite bathroom. The outdoor space is what truly makes it magical with private trails and secret spots at every turn. Grab a front-row seat to the sunset from the daybeds, relax in the shade while you read a book from the hammock, or take your mind off of it all while you play a game of giant chess outside. It comes equipped with all your vacation mandatories: a hot tub, sauna, fire pits, and a full fitness center with a treadmill, Peloton, Hydrow, Bowflex, and weight rack. Smart home automation technology puts total home control at your fingertips – from unlocking the door to turning on the lights. There is also high-speed fiber internet (the fastest in Mendocino County! generally 500+ Mbps) and 3 state-of-the-art workstations with monitors and ergonomic chairs – as well as an outdoor desk (yes, the WiFi reaches).


-Bedrooms-
The property has 3 bedrooms, 3 kings with ensuite bathrooms. All mattresses use the latest in sleep technology with extremely soft bedding sets so you can get a better night’s sleep than you do at home.

There is also a baby crib available, which can be set up upon request – though please note this property is surrounded by 40-50ft cliffs so children cannot be left unattended.

-Kitchen-
The kitchen is fully outfitted for all of your cooking needs – with a Nespresso coffee maker (pods included), cooking basics (oil, spice rack), top-grade cookware, appliances like a toaster and a blender, and dishwasher. The dining table can fit up to 6.

-Workstations-
The property has super fast fiber internet – the fastest in Mendocino County (typically 500+ Mbps) and three amazing state-of-the-art workstations, each complete with a 38” monitor, 4K camera, high-quality microphone, and ergonomic desk chair. There is also an outdoor desk that overlooks the ocean – so you can take your laptop out and work with a sea breeze!

-Fitness Center-
The private fitness center is fully available for use with a Peloton, treadmill, Hydrow, weight rack, and Bowflex machine. The outdoor area is also a beautiful spot for some sunset yoga.

-Living Space-
The living room has Sonos speakers and a smart TV with a projector so you can stream your favorite shows or movies. There’s also a fireplace if you want to get cozy!

-Outdoors-
The outdoor area is truly special. The patio area has seating, a fire pit, a hot tub, and a barrel sauna. Private wood chip-lined trails take you to various hidden spots – from a set of daybeds (best place for watching the incredible sunset!) to an outdoor desk by the ocean, to a shady area with picnic areas, a hammock, and a game of giant chess.

-Bathrooms-
The home has three full ensuite bathrooms. We provide luxury bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion), premium towels and robes, and even a Dyson hair dryer so you don’t have to pack your own!

This casual Thai food restaurant with beautiful murals and enjoyable outdoor seating, just ask to sit on the patio! Dining hours change so be sure to call ahead of time.

Trinks Cafe:
This cafe has delicious breakfast sandwiches, breakfast, lunch, and pastry options. Pro tip: sit on the back lawn facing the ocean.

Upper Crust Pizzeria:
This casual pizzeria is best enjoyed on Monday nights due to erratic opening hours. Pro tip: Order your pizza to go over the phone for pick-up and watch the sunset from the daybed back at Wander Anchor Bay while enjoying your pizza.

Coast Kitchen at Timber Cove Resort:
Coast Kitchen is a lovely upscale dining spot with amazing food – a great option for a nice meal out. Making a reservation is best. This establishment sticks to its hours.

Seafood Shack:
Seafood Shack is a fun local favorite where you can get some crab or seafood, making your trip to the coast as authentic as possible. While they're normally open from lunch to early dinner, we recommend calling them ahead for updated hours.

Pier Chowder House and Tap Room:
GetAmerican food, seafood, and brews at this coastal restaurant. Hours are subject to change so it's best to call beforehand.

Fort Ross Vineyards:
This vineyard focuses on Pinot Noir but also makes excellent Chardonnay and Pinotage wines. They offer an Estate Tasting Room which is open for limited reservations. Contact them to book a 90-minute seated food and wine-tasting experience.

Hirsch's Vineyards:
Hirsch’s Vineyards has been named of the Top 100 Wineries by Wine and Spirits Magazine. Their East Ridge Pinot Noir has been featured on the cover of Wine Spectator. They have gotten stellar reviews from wine critic James Suckling.

Arnot-Roberts Winery:
Arnot Roberts was founded by two friends who started making wine in their basements. They went on to source grapes from some of the best vineyards in California. Their mission is to produce wines that are distinctive and highlight the unique features of the area in which they are grown.

Littorai Winery:
Littorai is a small, family-owned winery. They produce world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The owner Ted Littorai was selected as Winemaker of the Year by the San Francisco Chronicle. He has also been nominated for the James Beard Award as Wine and Spirits Professional of the Year multiple times.
