Venue Setting

Villa di Geggiano is located just 7km North-East of Siena, Tuscany. Originally built in the 14th Century, was completely renovated to its current aspect in 1786, on the very occasion of a wedding between two noble Sienese families. The Villa and its gardens have been declared a National Heritage site and, with their original decorations and furnishings, form an exceptional historical site where you and your guests will be brought back to the elegant atmosphere of 18th century Italy.

The Villa preserves a few historical rooms with original baroque decorations and furnishings, whose motifs were made in the late 18th century to match the imported French wallpapers and Toile de Jouy fabrics that adorn the walls. The Madonna of the Rosary Chapel was built for the marriage of Anton Domenico Bianchi Bandinelli and Cecilia Chigi Zondadari in 1768 and renovated in 2000. You and your guests can share in this great historical tradition as you say your wedding vows.

Accommodations: As of Spring 2023, Villa di Geggiano will be able to accommodate 10 people , in 5 bedrooms divided between the main Villa and our Garden Pavilion Guesthouse. All rooms have modern facilities, air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms.
The price for all five bedrooms is € 3,000 / day, which grants you exclusive usage of the grounds and includes continental breakfast and full service staff (cleaner / cook / waiter). We have a minimum stay of three days.
Accommodation on site is not mandatory and, in case the guests are not staying with us, we provide a dressing room and bathroom.

The Villa is accessed through a centuries-old Oak alley and surrounded by an Italian-style garden with topiary and an open air theatre which offers the perfect location for concerts / speeches and for dancing the night away. The garden, surrounded by high walls topped with statues and terracotta vases, opens up onto the valley and overlooks directly to the towers of the nearby Medieval city of Siena.
Design:: Villa di Geggiano offers accommodation in our modernly refurbished Guesthouse Pavilion. A mix of contemporary architecture and traditional Tuscan style provide for a cozy yet refined atmosphere.

The rooms inside the Villa, have been refurbished in harmony with the historical interiors of the monumental part, in a classic style, yet present modern amenities and fully renovated bathrooms.
Standout Venue Features:: Villa di Geggiano is unique for its incredible preservation state. The 18th century rooms inside the Villa provide for a perfect backdrop for any photo shoot and are sure to leave the guests stunned.

Awards & Notables The Villa was chosen by Bernardo Bertolucci as a set for his 1990s movie "Stealing Beauty", starring Liv Tyler, Jeremy Irons and Rachel Weisz.
