The scene:
Here at Ventnor Botanic Garden we offer one of the Island's most stunning and unique wedding venues. Our position here in the sheltered and balmy Ventnor Undercliff gives us an extended wedding season, perfect for indoor outdoor celebrations from the early spring until late autumn.
Design:
As a couple, it really is all about you. We dare you to dream of the day you want and we can help you make it happen. If you want to arrive in a helicopter and leave in speed boat, it's all possible at VBG. Fancy a swanky marquee in an exclusive garden or the finest dining with a menu you've created?... then you are talking to the right people. You can even hire the whole 20 acre garden for the weekend for you, your friends and family to exclusively enjoy if you really want to push the boat out. All you have to do is ask.
Standout venue features:
With over 20 acres of garden to use, there isn't much we can't host here on the subtropical Ventnor Undercliff to suit your requirements. We have underground Victorian cellars, secret tunnels to the sea and not mention over 6000 plant, shrub and tree species from every continent. You don't get that at every venue, for use at your disposal. We have marquees we can put into all our open spaces to get you out in our wonderful gardens, as well as indoor rooms and a restaurant for those who want to stay inside. With our fabulous Channel coast microclimate, we don't mind which you choose, you will have a great wedding either way.
Extra perks:
We are open 364 days per year and can host your celebration on any day of the week, in any month you choose. If you choose a weekday celebration (Mon-Thurs) we can offer nice discounts on our standard peak day prices (Fri-Sun). Get married in the cooler months (Oct-Mar) and it's even more cost effective.
Food Restaurants, Cafes, Bars, Lounges
This section provides insights into our diverse culinary and social offerings.
The Plantation Room Cafe - relaxed, chilled out cafe serving, hot beverages and lunch on a daily basis with a wide range of cake choices, home made in the garden by our chefs. Leads onto a terrace and balcony area which looks over the whole garden to create a tranquil setting.

Edulis - Fresh, locally produced ingredients and a modern layout which opens onto the garden with views of our exotic plants and pond area.
The Plantation Room & Edulis both serve alcohol. Our own ale is sold in both, produced from Hops grown in the garden.
