The Garden offers winding pathways and tranquil ponds that highlight Charles Umlauf’s celebrated bronze and stone sculptures thoughtfully placed within its landscape.  

The covered terrace and lawns can accommodate up to 250 guests for a seated dinner and include festive string lighting. The lawns can be easily tented for additional coverage. Exclusive use of the terrace, arbor, garden, Crenshaw room and catering kitchen, event security and venue manager to assist guests and vendors, convenient access to free overflow parking lot, and many more amenities come with renting the UMLAUF.

The Scene:
A natural garden space filled with the sculptures of Charles Umlauf. Our water feature begins with a hillside waterfall, then a meandering brook with two ponds. Located minutes from downtown, we are a taste of central texas in the heart of Austin. 
Design:
Designed in 1991, with improvements over the years. The space is minimalist with natural rock features. The terrace is covered and has a simple design in order to let the natural setting speak for itself.

One of the few art museum gardens in the world where guests are encouraged to touch the sculptures.
