Venue Setting

Drive up the Rim of the World Highway to Twin Peaks, where The Perch is located, near the peak of a 6000 foot high mountain, on 4.5 acres, only an hour and a half outside of LA. The area is heavily forested and hilly but our property has a combination of flat open land as well as a secluded forested section and two clusters of cabins among the trees.

The vintage 13 rustic cabins have been renovated in a way to keep the integrity of their original construction, while the interiors have a modern, trendy MCM vibe.

Located within the San Bernardino National Forest, The Perch is a simple, peaceful, and beautiful spot that feels really remote yet there are nearby restaurants and shops, and we're within walking distance of the Twin Peaks Farmers Market. Lake Arrowhead Village and Lake Gregory are less than ten minutes away, and we're close to hiking trails, lookout points, off-roading, and some of the best paragliding in the country. We get snow in the winter, and there are various winter sports and activities in the area. We're about 40 minutes from Big Bear.

Additional charges

You can rent our barn and grounds for a day, or you can retreat at The Perch for several days, where the crew can be together for meetings, meals and activities, and can also enjoy their own private cabins. We can accommodate up to about 45 overnight guests.

There is a base rental fee, and we can customize add-ons such as: welcome bar, coffee and pastries, gift boxes, decorations, lighting, set up for buffet, etc. Tell us what you envision and we'll work with your needs.

Depending on what it takes to create the event you envision, there could be additional handyman, site manager, cleaning fees, etc.

We can fit roughly 20 cars, More than that may require nearby off-site parking, which may carry a nominal additional charge.

Porta Potties will be required for more than 25 guests if you're not renting out all the cabins. If you rent all the cabins but have additional day guests, porta potties are required for more than 50 guests.

Venue Features

The scene:: Many of our guests comment on how peaceful the space is. There is a small cluster of cabins and lots of open space and forested space. its safe and quiet and on specal occasions you may see or hear bluebirds, bluejays, owls, coyotes, bobcats, dear and more.

Drive up to our property and then right over the woodchip grounds to your cabin or to the barn. Small private roads lead to our cabins but there are no roads on the property. The property seems secluded and remote but it's actually right off Hway 189, 10 minutes to Lake Arrowhead and near various markets with all kinds of foods including organic food, beer and wine. near restaurants and other shops.

Our cabins are very rustic and simple, but they have a special beautiful quality. They're old on the outside but freshly renovated on the inside.
We've also got strong internet service.
Design:: We've got an old barn on the property that's perfect for wine tasting, a workshop, yoga or meetings. The back of the barn is an acre or two of woods. The front of the barn is a wide, flat open space, perfect for tables or lots of chairs or picnics, etc.

Most of the cabins have fully equipped kitchens, there are a few propane grills on the property. Some of the cabins have gas fireplaces.

Standout venue features:: All guests can roam the property freely. We have a property manager on site.
All cabins have combination locks - for easy self check in.
The barn has a fireplace and patio heaters, and is a cool spot for guests to gather.
If you're lucky you may see some of the mountain wildlife.
There's lots of space and there is a feeling of tranquility at The Perch. It's a perfect place for people to be together but also have privacy.
We are close by hiking trails, off-roading, some great restaurants, lake activities, a farmer's market, and some of the world's best paragliding. We're about a half hour from Santa's Workshop for snowboarding and other sports.
