​Evoke nostalgic memories and a classic Americana feel as you celebrate your wedding at North Branch.  Regardless of how you choose to celebrate here with your loved ones and family, know that the food and drink will only play second fiddle to the bride and groom, and your experience can celebrate movement throughout our many spaces.  Your options for a wedding or event at The North Branch Inn include:
- a seated event hosted throughout the interior public spaces and our Bar Room & Restaurant and Bowling Alley for gatherings up to 50 people.  
- a tented affair held in the fields at North Branch for gatherings above 50 people.
- our two-lane hand-set wooden bowling alley to wrap up your event with a late night party.
If you host your wedding with us, you are guarnateed our 14 rooms on property as well as an additional 8 rooms at our sibling property Nine River Road, located just 10 minutes away.

Background on the Inn:
The newly restored North Branch Inn marries casual elegance with fresh laid back style. The Bar Room and Restaurant at the North Branch Inn serves a concise menu that is consistently changing. We get our product mostly from people we know personally. And everything that we can't we still source from within New York State. Our small open kitchen is in our 100+ year old bowling alley and our deliveries from the farms come through the front door. The Bar itself stocks a solid list of beer in the can, ciders on tap and only American made products. Our long custom made tables are communal in nature and lend themselves well to small and intimate weddings and events. We believe that a great meal is made only better by interesting conversation with friends or strangers about to become one.  

The inn itself is located 2 hours north of New York City in the western Catskills in the quaint town of North Branch. Nestled next to a small creek, North Branch was officially named in 1851, and constituted not much more than 7 families, a general store, post office, and a bowling alley. Famous for its orchards and apple cider, a great variety of apples grew here and were prized all over the world. Our setting allows for a quiet escape from the world, and similar to our sibling property, The Arnold House, offers an experience more similar to hosting an event with friends in a private home rather than in a traditional commercial venue.

An Intimate Wedding at The North Branch Inn

You | A couple that spends a significant part of your day thinking about your next meal. You love food, appreciate the art of making the food and spend much of your social existence sharing those experiences with your friends and family. Now you are getting married (congratulations!) and are willing to limit your guest list to 50 people so that the only thing that will upstage the food – and carefully crafted cocktails – are the bride and groom.

Us | We are passionate about good food and creating the right atmosphere in which to truly enjoy the experience of dining. We focus on the details – not just how the food is made, but where it comes from (nearly all of it from within 5 miles of the inn – but none from outside the borders of NY State) and how it is presented.

The Experience | We encourage movement throughout our space with a mix of stations and family style dining. Guests can be greeted in the lawns behind the Inn to mix and mingle with a hand crafted cocktail and have their hand in a round of croquet, while appetizers are being passed. The evening can carry on as guests flow into The Bar Room & Restaurant to enjoy additional courses around our communal tables. The night will not need to end as after dinner, dessert can be presented in our two lane hand-set bowling ally from the early 1900’s - and guests are encouraged to indulge in both.

What’s Included | If you choose to host your wedding with us, this is what is included in our wedding quotes:

-  Ceremony on site free of charge, including set up and break down.
-  Personalized attention from our management team throughout the event.
-  Full staff for the event.
-  Full set up, breakdown and cleanup for each event.
-  Communal, individual and high top seating are provided for the event that can sit up to 50 people in total.
-  Votive candles, flatware, plates, napkins and barware are available for use for no additional charge.
-  Assorted and carefully collected catering supplies are provided (such as vintage apple crates and farm baskets) to create the perfect atmosphere and are  
   used to set up food stations and for food service.
-  iPod plug-in ready speaker system available for use.
-  Our guest parlor with its cozy seating and wood-burning stove for those that want to take a break from bowling.
-  The bonfire pit (for your late night s’mores and whiskey!) is located directly across from the restaurant and provides additional gathering space for guests.
-  Send your guests home with something to remember the weekend with. Allow us to prepare a homemade favor for you: choice of: apple butter, maple 
   sugar or a seasonal jam.

Menu | We source all food from farmers and purveyors we know – and no further than NY State borders. The proposed menu is an example of the type of menu our Chef would prepare for you based on what is in season.

Pricing | $250 / guest, includes 8 courses and a three-hour open bar comprised of a carefully assembled assortment of US liquors, ciders, beers & wine.   Please visit our website for a sample seasonal menu.

    A Wedding in the Fields at The North Branch Inn

    You | Two people that love food and have always dreamt of hosting your wedding outside in a tent surrounded by meadows and streams. You have a large guest list (over 50 people) but you still want to make sure that the food plays a key role throughout your event.

    Us | We are passionate about good food and creating the right atmosphere in which to truly enjoy the experience of dining.       Design:
      The inn, which dates back to the late 1800s, has been carefully restored.  We have been featured in a number of design magazines for the furnishings and hope you come visit us yourself to see the space!
      Standout Venue Features:
      A beautifully restored inn with cozy public spaces kept warm by woodburning fireplaces... bonfire pits to enjoy on summer evenings while you star gaze from our meadows and fields, streams running along side both sides of our property, 5 of our guest rooms are in the original Post Office of North Branch (!) and of course, our hand-set two lane wooden bowling alley is a true gem.  Our kitchen is located inside the bowling alley - so at the end of the night, you can challenge our Chef to a round of bowling!  

      We are also tremendously proud of our restaurant itself - we source all of our prodcut from people we know - most of whom are located within 5-10 miles of our inn. Much of our prodcut arrives via tractor (no joke!) - it doens't get fresher or more local than that.  For anything we cannot source directly from our neighbors, we get from within NY State only.  This makes for a truly seasonal and special menu that is always changing!
