The original factory was family owned, and together they came up with the vision to transform it into The Nook — a place creatives could come together to work alongside like-minded people. This is something that the Mornington Peninsula lacked at the time – which is surprising, as it was teeming with creative talent.

Tucked away in the Mornington industrial estate, you'll find The Nook Gallery and Studios – a versatile space for visionary brands, passionate entrepreneurs and talented local creatives.

The Nook opened in 2014, initially as a gallery for emerging creatives, filling a much-needed gap on the Mornington Peninsula. Now, it’s evolved into something much bigger with private studios for creative business owners, in addition to its two gallery spaces and hip courtyard area.

Design:

With the space hired out for all kinds of creativity, one week you’ll find original artwork adorning the walls of the gallery and the next it might be singing lessons, yoga classes, a launch event, a photo shoot, or a popup sale.

Industrial vibes make The Nook a popular destination for weddings and engagement parties with ample space for food truck parking out the front and a bar onsite (plus, the gallery makes a great dance floor).
