This 'Saturday Night Special' is a little less gun smoke but just as much flash bang.
Rustic and contemporary design elements create the restaurant’s simple, yet stunning space. A striking 20-foot walnut timber bar brings one back to the bright and airy Barrel Room, which offers views of a lush backyard garden, whose produce is incorporated in many of the restaurant’s seasonal menus. Lime-washed exposed brick and mid-century modern brass chandeliers add both character and depth to the 70-seat restaurant, while intimate nooks give it a romantic charm, effortlessly chic for any culinary celebration.

Designed by Alexander Waterworth Interiors, Michelin star awarded restaurant The Musket Room, with its white washed walls, graceful mid-century chandeliers, airy back room and ever present greenery, is an ideal space to celebrate. For intimate gatherings, our Garden Room seats 30 and offers views of our lush backyard while the entire restaurant can also be reserved for 60 seated guests or an 80 person cocktail reception. Inspired by an era in New Zealand when adventure and dicovery blossomed, The Musket Room offers a modern approach to the country’s culinary past. Dishes at The Musket Room are thoughtful and composed, reflecting Chef Matt Lambert’s classical French training and new American roots.

Design:
The Musket Room is designed by renowned Alexander Waterworth Interiors incorporating rustic and contemporary design elements to create the restaurant’s simple, yet stunning space.
