Situated in the South West countryside and set in 66 acres of beautiful grounds, our Manor House has panoramic views across the River Severn to Wales and the rolling hills beyond. Our landscaped gardens, an abundance of colourful flowers and secret hedge-cut passage ways surrounded by dozens of rose beds, are the perfect picture opportunity for any bride and groom.  

Our dedicated wedding coordinator will help you through every stage of planning your big day. They will ensure that every element comes together with style and efficiency, allowing you and your guests the luxury to relax and enjoy your uniquely special day.

Our talented chef has years of experience providing exquisite Wedding Cusine, from melt in the mouth canapés and luxurious wedding breakfasts to delicious evening buffets and hog roasts. We even provide a delicious children’s menu because little people should feel special too. Please see our wedding packages for sample menus. However, should you wish to tailor a menu to suit your personal taste, our chef will more than happy to assist you.

Old Down Estate has 13 beautifully appointed bedrooms. The Bridal Suite, Junior Suite and a further six large bedrooms occupy the main house. Each of these bedrooms benefit from stunning views and are fitted with lavish ensuite facilities. Each room has been individually styled with a mixture of old and new, providing luxurious and effortlessly chic accommodation.

The Cottage

The guest cottage, ideal for families, or smaller groups, has it’s own front door and whilst it retains the feeling of independence, can also be accessed from the main house. The luxurious interiors of the five beautifully appointed bedrooms mirror those in the Manor House.
