We are conveniently located only 5 minutes from the Historic Downtown District of Savannah, in a beautiful southern landscape surrounded by 300-year-old oak trees. The Mackey House is located on an old 440 acre dairy farm originally owned and operated in the 1920s by my great-great-grandfather, Edward Martin. The farm is still owned and operated by the family today.

Our Main House and Deck consist of our large, colonial style home and a recently expanded 4000 sq. ft. deck with a glass covered dance floor. The entire space is covered by a large clear tent. The deck overlooks the other three areas of the property, the Gardens, Pavillion, and Lakeside. Our entire property is sprayed by the county to control bugs and insects.

The Gardens at The Mackey House are lined with large tropical ferns, palms trees, and beautifully manicured flowers, wooden swings, with rustic wrought iron garden furniture spread throughout, creating the perfect location for any part of your event. Alongside the Gardens is our 3000sq. ft. Pavilion quietly tucked away under shady pine and oaks trees. The Pavilion along with our covered Deck can accommodate events year round. Finally, our Lakeside area provides fairytale scenery for any wedding ceremony, reception or cocktail hour.
