Located across the Wabasha Street bridge from downtown St. Paul, The Lowlands is an exciting new venue with endless possibilities. Our space offers over 10,000 square feet of event space. Our expansive, light-flooded upper level is perfect for ceremonies and receptions for up to 250 guests; we offer our elegant lounge with a unique terrarium feature on the lower level; a uniquely designed bar on each floor; two green rooms; a beautiful outdoor terrace with views of the downtown skyline and a sunken patio for a more intimate place to enjoy a cocktail or conversation.

The scene:: The Lowlands is a historic, repurposed industrial building transformed with curved shapes, soft finishes, artful lighting and thoughtfully articulated indoor and outdoor spaces.
Design:: The building has two large indoor gathering spaces lined with enormous windows to capture the most possible natural light, but in the evening, a glowing indoor terrarium lights up the lower level bar area. The upper level is a beautifully open space which features a spiral staircase that leads you do the lower level and Ladyslipper Lounge.
Standout venue features:: The Lowlands offers a full bar program which will feature beer, wine, classic and craft cocktails to choose from. We will emphasize a focus on locally sourced products where possible, and otherwise currate a variety of options that are sure to please a crowd. Clients will have the option to choose between hosting the bar, having guests purchase their own beverages, or a combination of both.
