- The Scene:
- Little St. Simons Island offers 7 miles of pristine beaches and over 11,000 acres of undeveloped wilderness. The island boasts several distinct scenes and habitats which include: thick-canopied moss-draped live oak maritime forests, miles of pristine beaches free of signs of other people, sweetgrass meadows, and sweeping views across creeks and the marshes for which Georgia's Golden Isles are named.
- Design:
The historic Barn, a landmark within the Island’s main Lodge compound, has been extensively renovated and transformed into the ideal center point for group meetings on the Island. Whether for executive retreats of a dozen or corporate groups up to 32 persons, the intimacy, natural beauty and privacy of Little St. Simons Island produce a very real and unique sense of focus and productivity. And the abundance of recreational options helps attendees relax between sessions and, when pursued by the entire group, fosters colleague relationships and encourages team-building.
The Barn and the Island’s variety of attendee accommodations are joined by a host of complementing settings for meetings, including our poolside Screen House, the Hunting Lodge and inspiring outdoor locations.
- Standout Venue Features:
- Our rates are all-inclusive: boat transportation to/from the island, all meals, beer, wine, soft drinks, naturalist-led adventures (kayaking, fishing, truck-based tours, tours of the island garden, hiking & birding) and recreational equipment (kayaks, bicycles, and even small motor boats).
- Extra Perks:
- Planning an event is a lot of work! When you reserve the entire island, you will receive the assistance of our full island specialist. She will help you schedule boat times, assign rooms, plan the menu and set the daily schedule. Two additional perks include: special outside lunch at one of the island's picnic locations and an evening oyster roast (weather and seasonal availablility allowing).

Simple yet delicious meals include fruits, vegetables and herbs from our island garden as well as local seafood and produce.
