The Litchfield Inn offers classically styled spaces for corporate meetings, weddings and social events, all of which include ample natural light and can accommodate groups of 10 to 150 guests. With both indoor and outdoor options there are spaces perfect for every event. We have partnered with David Alan Hospitality Group for catering, with cuisine influenced by New England’s seasons and flavors.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
Our outdoor patio, adjacent to our formal walking garden is the perfect setting for an intimate dinner party. With over 10 acres of lush lawn, there is plenty of space for even the largest of weddings.

Our boutique property offers 32 guestrooms consisting of 12 bespoke themed rooms and 20 classic rooms. Each stay includes a complimentary breakfast, refreshments, coffee and tea. Tucked away in foothills of the Berkshires, Litchfield is a quintessential New England town surrounded by nature and packed with history. The land that comprises the township of Litchfield was first named “Bantam” (meaning “he prays”) by the native Indians then renamed to “Litchfield” after its settlement in the 1720’s. The land was cleared and later developed throughout the century for many different industries including farming, mills and higher education. With the historic preservation of architecture and cultural programs, Litchfield is considered one of the finest surviving examples of a typical late 18th-century town. More recently, the allure of the countryside has attracted the likes of many artisans and creatives that now call Litchfield home. This makes for a quaint and compelling town that is rich in culture and brimful of unique shops, goods and activities to keep you captivated.
