The Lighthouse is a serene waterfront oasis and event property for weddings, special celebrations, corporate events, and more. Nestled in Glen Cove among rolling hills and a majestic waterfront—this historic building, originally built in 1910 and moved from another location, is rich in local history and has been renovated to include a combination of modern-day conveniences and historic charm.
Please note: The Lighthouse is not an all-inclusive, full-service event property. Food and beverage are not included. All vendors must be hired separately, and our Concierge and Coordinators are here to help you select the perfect-for-you wedding team.

Food & Beverage:
We recommend selecting a vetted preferred full-service caterer from our list of Approved Caterers. You are welcome to bring in your own, but they would be subject to General Managers approval and an additional fee. Note: for Lighthouse-coordinated weddings, clients must contract a caterer from our approved list.
A licensed and insured vendor must service all alcohol. Many full-service caterers have the capability to serve your purchased alcohol. If you intend alcohol to be sold at your private event (i.e. you are not purchasing it yourself), you will be required to contract a third-party licensed beverage service company with a valid liquor license. Many beverage vendors provide affordable beverage packages. Please ask your Lighthouse sales representative for guidance or refer to our extensive Approved Caterer & Vendor list.
Catering Rentals:
We do not provide service items for food or beverage such as plates, glassware, flatware, etc. These would be arranged by your full-service caterer or planner.
Day-of Coordination / Planners:
For all weddings, we require that you hire a licensed Day-of Coordinator to be present for the duration of your event. You can add this service through The Lighthouse or select a Coordinator of your choice. For 2023 bookings and beyond, you will be required to hire a full-service licensed planner.
Damage Deposit:
We require a separate refundable $1,000 damage deposit, due 60 days before your event. Should no damage to the property be incurred, a refund will be returned to you within 30 days of the event.
Janitorial Fee:
The janitorial fee, included in your package price, covers the cost of deep cleaning the Inn and the Banquet Room after your event. You are required to leave the property free of trash and all belongings cleared by the end of the leasing period.
Certificate of Insurance:
We require proof of a minimum of $1,000,000 policy listing The Lighthouse LLC as additional insured. The Certificate of Insurance is due 30 days before your event and is to be acquired separately. The average cost is around $175. We also highly recommend event insurance which is separate from liability insurance.
