Welcome to The Inn at Fernbrook Farms, a unique estate at the heart of a 230 acre preserved working farm in pastoral Chesterfield, New Jersey. Fernbrook is the perfect setting for all celebratory events featuring natural yet sophisticated amenities, customized cuisine, and dreamscape grounds and gardens. Fernbrook emphasizes a setting of rich values, focusing on fresh picked produce and top-tier event arrangements.

Centrally located between Philadelphia and NYC, Fernbrook is nearby to historic and cultural regions including Princeton, Bordentown, and New Hope, PA. The manor house, built in the 1740’s, appointed with antique furniture, features 7 bedrooms, 6 baths, multiple fireplaces, and a billiards table. In addition, the estate has 9 acres of extensive lawns and gardens, an outdoor hearth and a summer house, providing multiple venues for a picturesque wedding.

The farm, preserved forever against future development, also offers scenic views, walking trails throughout 60 acres of forest, creeks, and pond, animal pens for petting, and a historic barn. On this land, over 20 acres of organic vegetable production provides an incredible bounty of food for the Kitchen at Fernbrook. Fernbrook is special and will forever be a place for family and friends to come together.

The Inn at Fernbrook Farms is a very unique, all-inclusive wedding venue located in the heart of New Jersey Farm Country. Our 3-story, 1750 Georgian Manor House sits at the heart of 230 acres of an active farm and this is yours to do with as you wish on your wedding day. Here, we walk you through your wedding from your first visit to Fernbrook to your send off the evening of your reception, and help make sure that everything is just perfect for your special day. From natural landscapes to elaborate lighting schemes, to beautiful table accents, large weddings or small, the choice is yours for this memorable day.

With its gardens, vast lawns and farm fields, Fernbrook has a wonderful ability to transform itself into exactly what you are looking for on your special day. Our grounds are truly unique and one of a kind, offering a variety of rustic and elegant spots where you may choose to have your ceremony, cocktail hour or reception. Our Sundial Garden is an original estate garden from the late 1800’s, surrounded by crabapples, butterfly bushes and a variety of old estate trees, making it a perfect spot for an intimate wedding ceremony. The Old House is a beautiful stone wall rebuilt upon the foundation of the original estate at Fernbrook and is set in the middle of the expansive Great Lawn, making it perfect for an open, outdoor ceremony. And these are just a few of the many magical spots at Fernbrook!

From 11 o’clock on the morning of your wedding day to 10 o’clock the following day, the Inn at Fernbrook is all yours. Take your wedding photos underneath the huge sunflowers in our farm fields, use our old green Ford pick up truck to display hors d’oeuvres and specialty drinks during cocktail hour, or hang bistro lights which resemble stars in the night sky to create a cozy and intimate ambiance inside or outside the tent. The ideas are endless at Fernbrook, so dream big and we will make it happen.
Standout venue features:
The Inn at Fernbrook is way more than simply an event venue. It is an experience. We encourage our guests to explore the farm, from the beautifully manicured wedding gardens and grounds to the CSA fields with vegetables, fruits and flowers and the animal barn to all the trails in the woods. What makes Fernbrook great is that you can host a formal black tie affair under the tent or a pig roast on the great lawn. You can have a champagne toast in the sundial garden or head out on a wagon ride tour of the farm with cocktails in hand. The gorgeous outdoor stone hearth is perfect for a rehearsal dinner in front of a fire or a late night s'mores session.
