- The Scene:
- Meander up a secluded and private country lane and let the natural landscape unfold before you... a memorable experience awaits...The Haven at Tomales.
Built over a century ago, The Haven has been transformed from a historic barn into a glamorous location to celebrate and gather. The original barn wood has been preserved to create one-of-a-kind natural lighting. From the reaching pillars to the antique wood framed windows, the architecture from that time period is truly dramatic.
The view outside is equally as breathtaking with the horizon opening up to a canyon and one of California’s largest Eucalyptus forests. Created by a visionary in the 1800's, the one of a kind forest was planted in the shape of a sailor, anchor and sword. The rolling hills, sweeping forests and sparkling ponds are a sanctuary for some of California’s most beloved wildlife creatures, such as deer, quail and geese. The family who oversees the ranch has a deep passion for nature conservation. We believe each piece of conservation is uniquely important to preserving our precious resources and know when putting into practice together, they make an impactful difference.
The Haven at Tomales looks forward to sharing the unique property with select clients who have a love and appreciation of the land. - Standout Venue Features:
- The 50 acre historic Eucalyptus Grove is truly one of a kind in the world. Planted in the 1800's by the architecturally gifted owner of the farm and builder of the barns, the forest was planted in the shape of a sailor an anchor and a sword. A ceremony encompased in the forest clearing, or at the entrance to the unique forest path is an exhilirating and uniquely romantic experience. Followed by a return to the barn for dinner and dancing and your day becomes magical beyond your dreams.
