Founded in 2014 by two LSU alums that had a hankering for some home cooking, The Gumbo Bros started as a small pop-up in New York City and has grown to a full service bar & restaurant featuring legit cajun & creole cuisine with locations in Brooklyn, New York and Nashville, Tennessee. With an emphasis on proper cooking methods, family recipes and regional sourcing (gulf shrimp, New Orleans French bread etc.) The Gumbo Bros & Chef Adam Lathan have received major accolades from customers & press alike including The New York Times, Forbes, Eater, The Wall Street Journal.
