The scene:: The Famous craft cocktail lounge is located in Glendale's historic Huntley-Evans building, directly across the street from the Americana at Brand. It follows an eclectic and rich pedigree of establishments that have called this building home in the last century, most notably the early Glendale landmark, The Famous Department Store.
Design:: Inside the historic wood-&-brick building, our facade is furnished with all wood and leather, exposed brick walls project stills of classic movies and obscure liquor brands are served by vested and mutton-chopped barkeeps who are genuinely passionate about their craft. Think Hollywood minus the pretention.
Standout venue features:: The scene: Pre-9pm, sit at the rather large bar for one-on-one service and let barkeeps mix up something special. When it gets more crowded, head for one of the banquettes lining the room. From bar stools too high tops to lounge, with live folk bands playing every week and that everything tastes so good.
