The Estate on Second may be a recent addition to Orange County’s hospitality scene, but its historic structure has been located in the heart of Santa Ana since 1923. What began as a building to house the Southern Counties Gas Company, has transitioned from office to restaurant and much more over the years. Once we laid eyes on this historic, magnificent building, starting our own venue made perfect sense. The Estate has been restored and renovated to showcase its original elegance. Our full-service venue was designed with versatility in mind. Events of great number as well as smaller gatherings are welcomed. Whether you’re hosting a themed cocktail soiree, a corporate holiday party, a birthday extravaganza, or a glamorous wedding, The Estate on Second is a perfect space to celebrate.

Venue Features

The scene:: The Estate is located in the central hub of Downtown Santa Ana, California. We’re proud to call ourselves a member of such a vibrant community. Santa Ana is one of the last remaining cities in Orange County that can boast a prominent and flourishing downtown area. Not to mention, it has a spectacular array of shops, restaurants, entertainment and a great arts & culture scene. We couldn’t have found a better location for The Estate and we feel extremely grateful to be a contributing resident of this happening city. As far as our building and grounds go, we like to think of The Estate as a magnificent home, equipped with plenty of beautiful rooms for entertaining. When you walk through the tall, glass-paned front door, you’ll be greeted by a grand room. This space is perfect for a large wedding ceremony, party, or reception. The hall boasts two elegant stairways, high ceilings, and an open floor plan. The first floor also includes a separate bridal suite along with a partial kitchen. The Estate's upstairs room has been designed with more intimate gatherings in mind. Adjacent to this is a balcony that overlooks the cityscape. This outdoor space is a great setting for cocktail hour, a dinner party, or even a small ceremony.
Design:: The architectural details and style of The Estate reflect the Georgian Colonial period. Our venue boasts gorgeous exposed beams and worn brick from its original construction. Tiles and wood floors from a previous life mark the entryway that leads into a grand room full of arched, Palladian windows flooding the area with natural light. We've restored these historic, beautiful features, while adding elegant design aspects and modern functions to the space.
