Venue Setting
When you first enter this large terraced apartment in central Bath, you might notice something a little strange about its layout. It served as a kitchen in Georgian times, and the original alcoves remain, adding a touch of history to the newly renovated living room and kitchen. Not only that, but the vaults under the street have been incorporated into the apartment, with the arched ceilings lending character to the rooms downstairs. There’s plenty of space for everyone to relax with a meal or a film in the open-plan living area, but if you’d rather do your own thing there’s also a snug in the vaults where you can put your feet up and watch a film. When the weather’s on your side, take a stroll through Green Park just outside and return for an alfresco dinner in the back garden. If you're visiting during chillier months, the added bonus of underfloor heating beneath the travertine tiles and wooden floors means no cold feet when you wake in the mornings.
