Venue Setting

The property is an impressive Georgian mansion house, originally built for a wealthy family but now a Private Members Club, it was the last of its kind built in the Captial. The understated elegant proportions and original features of its interior combine with its discreet character to make for a very appealing and unique venue. It is blessed with excellent transport links and easy access to several local churches and venues for civil ceremonies. There is also privileged access to Belgrave Square Gardens just across the road which offers couples a spectacular natural backdrop for photographs and group gatherings.

The venue is a Scottish private members Club, offering a traditional home-from-home for Scots in London making it the perfect location for weddings with a Caledonian twist, the full 'Brigadoon' experience if you like. Weddings are always special at the Caledonian Club. Combining originality with tradition, the Club offers understated elegance and style with all the advantages of an exclusive central London location.

The Club is located at 9 Halkin Street in the heart of Belgravia only a short distance from Knightbridge and Mayfair.

From the moment of arrival, the warmth of the welcome, the splendour of the front hall with its sweeping staircase and the picturesque terrace, guests know they are somewhere truly unique.
Design:
A range of elegant banqueting rooms are available for your wedding breakfast, 150 guests can be accommodated in the Johnnie Walker Room and 120 in our main Dining Room. Our Library, Selkirk, and Stuart Rooms are also available for smaller gatherings and parties.

Outside we have our own terrace, a quiet and tranquil space which extends the full width of the Club and is the ideal setting for photographs and drinks receptions, especially during the warmer months.

In the winter, guests can enjoy drinks and canapes by the warmth of the fire in the Morrison Room.
Standout venue features:
As residents of Halkin Street we are privileged to have access to the beautiful Belgravia Square Gardens which are situated just across the road from the Club. As part of your package, you will be given access to the gardens allowing you to have photos taken in one of Grosvenor Estates most prestigious outdoor spaces, surrounded by some of London’s most beautiful Georgian mansion houses.

Our Head Chef, Richard Wood and his team are passionate about delivering food of the highest quality. They source premium seasonal and sustainable produce from a wide range of carefully selected UK suppliers, to create the perfect wedding menu for you and your guests.

To help with the decision making we offer exclusive food and wine tastings as part of the planning process. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions before finally agreeing the menu.

We also have an extensive and varied wine list, hand-picked by our in-house wine experts and who will be on hand to advise on the best wines to complement your chosen menu.

Johnnie Walker Room
The Johnnie Walker Room is our largest room, perfect for events of around 200 people. The room can be divided into two separate spaces and has its own private entrance at 9A Halkin Street.
