The Brampton Est. 2016
1525 River Road, Warrensburg, NY, United States
The thing about The Brampton is that neither a website nor a photo is going to do it justice. I know this to be the case as it's the feedback from 100% of our guests too. It's not just that the lodge does not look all that impressive from the outside (half the lodge is underground so it appears smaller than it is), it's more that the time spent there is swimming in rivers, hiking mountains, water-skiing in lakes and, my favourite, sitting round the fire drinking whiskey. The inside scoop is that we guarantee you have an experience you can't find anywhere else because of what we can offer and the environment we offer it in. Let us show you how to enjoy nature...
As an example, there's a secret swimming spot called the Black Hole where you swing into a large and naturally occurring plunge pool in the river. For now, it's hardly visited but we are finding spots like this all the time. Some have asked if we have a swimming pool - absolutely not! This would only encourage people to relax there instead of adventuring into the rivers and streams that surround us.

- The Scene:
The property is fairly new and has the feel of a large Alpine ski lodge. The Hudson River flows right next to the driveway so the only thing you can hear at night is the flowing river. This also means that should guests want to dip in the river, they are only yards away from doing so.
- Design:
- The lodge itself is fairly modern in terms of age but the plan is to begin the build out across the rest of the 10 acres. We have a 1000 sq foot barn which, as of now, sits as an empty event space. We have toyed with the idea of turning into a gym / exercise / dance studio but right now it can be used however guests want.
We just finished building an outdoor bedroom, an 800 sq foot yoga and a fitness deck with outdoor shower. Our plan is to keep building cabins and accommodation on the property as the lodge grows in popularity. By all means, bring your own tent and fulfil all your glamping desires. - Standout Venue Features:
- We have several unique selling points at The Brampton. First and foremost, we are an all inclusive experience. The idea is that you can do as little or as much as you want, but you don't have to do anything. Jeff, the manager, is on hand to organise everything, drive guests around, help out and give advice. Jeff can stay on or off the property but will always be close by.
The property sits on the Hudson River and a few minutes walk away is your chance to run and jump into the river to swim and cool off.
We have a speedboat on the lake to take people water-skiing, on the doughnut, cliff jumping or onto one of the many islands for a picnic or beach day.
We know lots of people in the local area and can organise white water rafting, golf, tubing, zip lining and many other activities. - Extra Perks:
- We like to make sure you always have fun things to do in the house so we have a dart board, pool table, hot tub, cards and several board games all of which are on hand in case the weather forces you to play inside.
We have several items of outdoor furniture to make sure that you can dine with all your party inside or out.

- Food, Restaurants, Cafes:
- We really don't have too many great restaurants and bars near the property.... and we like it that way!
The Brampton is an experience, and the hope is that people stay on location to build, cook, drink, eat and have fun together.
Close by there is a fun bar with great food called Bar Vino - we often stop in there on the way back from skiing during the winter for a quick drink.
THIS VENUE DOES NOT HAVE ANY REPORTS AT THIS TIME.
