Situated just 5 minutes from the CBD in a renovated warehouse in Bowden, the studio boasts an internal open plan area of approximately 200sqm, and 100sqm terrace out front. Tenth & Gibson's recycled materials and bespoke design lends itself to all manner of productions and events.

There is a hidden video game arcade within the venue available to guests who are able to answer a series of retro video game trivia questions.

Venue Features

The scene:: The property is situated in the burgeoning former industrial suburb of Bowden. With gentrification well under way, the area is an interesting mix of heritage buildings and new development. Tenth & Gibson combines these two characteristics in an adaptive re-use of an industrial warehouse, showcasing a unique blend of practicality and bespoke design.
Design:: As our venue is a working photography and film studio, one end of the main space is occupied by a large cyclorama, or white wall. For events this makes for a minimal, yet breathtaking backdrop to all manner of things; from wedding ceremonies, to live music, or film premieres. Much of Tenth & Gibson has been designed with ecological issues in mind, and as such the bulk of the conversion was completed with recycled and sustainable materials; most notably, a giant timber-clad wall made from century old Douglas Fir which dominates the space.
