1342 is a modern chic photo studio and an idyllic event venue in the heart of Los Angeles. We boast a total of 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, lush greenery, original art installations, and a photo-ready cyclorama wall for capturing your most important moments. Other features include: generous space for 200 person seated indoor/outdoor events; 300 person indoor and outdoor cocktail parties; bow truss ceilings; 10' roll-up door; laptop & DVD-ready projector; indoor and outdoor ipod-ready sound systems; custom-deisgned bar; outdoor firepit; romantic outdoor lighting. Does this include catering fees?: No

Additional charges: In addition to our rental fee, there is a $300 cleaning/trash removal fee on all events. We also require and will staff a site manager any time you are present at 1342 during your 12 hour rental period. The fee for this site manager is $45 per hour. There will also be a concierge present from one hour prior to your printed invitation time until the end of your event. This fee is $35 per hour. If you have over 200 people there will be an additional site manager present. That's it, there are no other fees.

The scene:: 1342 is an oasis in bustling central Los Angeles, and walking through our gates will transport you to a backdoor garden and modern event space complete with original murals and art installations, plenty of outdoor lighting, and mid-centry modern decor throughout the property.
Design:: Our venue is a perfect spot for casual cocktail parties, formal sit-down dinners, and corporate presentations (not to mention photo shoots!) and our outdoor bar and lounge areas provide ample space for your guests to explore and enjoy throughout your event!
Standout venue features:: All rentals include the studio interior and exterior, including an outdoor bar, mobile chalkboard, and vintage outdoor furniture for you to mix and match with your event decor. A 10' wide roll-up door connects our outdoor patio to our indoor studio space, allowing your guests to explore and connect with one another. Our cyclorama wall serves as the perfect dance floor and presentation piece when combined with our indoor projector for slideshows, movies, and presentations. Our wardrobe area is the perfect spot to get ready on your big day or set up a photo booth for your guests to capture their memories of your special event!
Extra perks:: All furniture at 1342 is included in your rental, including indoor and outdoor lounge furniture and (6) highboy cocktail tables. All wedding rentals include a 1 hour rehearsal, to be scheduled the week of the event date. Loft space/bridal suite is included (capacity 12 persons). Indoor and outdoor sound systems (iPod ready). Mounted projector inside the studio with DVD player (projector is also laptop compatible). Outdoor bar complete with full refrigerator. Full kitchen with oven, stove, and refrigerator. Professional hair & makeup area and shower. Outdoor fire pit and lounge seating.
