Venue Setting

Located in the heart of Downtown Oakland, Skylight at The Rotunda has stood as the crown jewel of the East Bay since opening in 1912 as Kahn's Department Store. The multi-story Beaux-Arts building features original architectural details with a 125-foot-high glass dome ceiling gracing a 5,000 square foot atrium surrounding a gilded grand staircase. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Rotunda celebrates the architectural history and cultural heritage of Oakland.

The atrium event space is available now and the 10,000 square foot amenity level will launch as part of Skylight’s portfolio in early 2024.
