Venue Setting

Sinema is a sleek restaurant and bar offering an entire dining experience that hinges on impeccable service. Built on heritage, community and culture, the team provides an atmosphere of relaxed luxury. Executive chef Dale Levitski has crafted an eclectic American menu that is unique to Nashville, with emphasis on classically inspired dishes with a modern spin. 

Sinema is housed in Nashville's historic Melrose theatre. The theatre opened in 1942 and quickly became a local hotspot throughout the 40s and 50s. Our goal was to keep the essence of the old theatre, while updating it to reflect the modern dining service we provide.

Our space features two levels of dining space, including a bar and private dining areas. The décor, developed by Anderson Design Studio, is a combination of preserved elements of the original building and modern, custom design. The grand lobby, including the curved staircase, have been restored and complemented by exposed brick walls, cozy velvet tufted booths, and legendary music photography by Robert Knight and Mary Ann Bilham.

Sinema offers private dining events, cocktail receptions, tasting menus, corporate events, bachelor and bachelorette parties and exclusive events. 

Whether you're looking for a private, intimate space for a few friends in Music City or a place to host a corporate cocktail party, we have the space. We have several options, including community tables, cozy seating nooks and rock-and-roll inspired lounge areas that bring a dramatic flair to your events.

Enjoy creative American-inspired custom menus from Executive Chef Dale Levitski, filled with seasonal influences and inspirations. Options range from passed appetizers to family-style dinners and private tasting menus.

Backstage:
Backstage at Sinema is a fully private space, featuring it’s own entrance, 2 movie screens for presentations or entertaining, and seating for up to 50 guests. Seating can be designed to accommodate up to 40 guests at one long table, 50 guests at round tables, or a variety of short and tall cocktail tables for an intimate reception.

Lounge:
The Lounge provides the perfect backdrop for any celebration. Seating is available for groups of 10 to 150. View the private collection of Robert Knight photography while sipping on a classic libation.

Private Dining Rooms A & B:
The Private Dining Room, on the 2nd floor, can be split into (2) rooms of 12 or 1room with 24 seats. Guests will dine at long tables with access to 50” flat screens for presentations

The Green Room provides the best entertainment in the restaurant with direct views of the open kitchen. 7 cozy booths can provide seating for up to 50 guests.
