Sitting in the bayside town of Dromana at the foot of Authur's Seat, this relaxed coastal sanctuary is surprisingly contemporary in style given the rather rustic location. The interior wouldn't look out of place in an apartment building in one of Australia's metropoles. In the open living space, a colour palette of muted greys and subtle spotlighting make for an interior that's instantly calming, while the corner kitchen is a triumph of glossy surfaces and clever design. We're also big fans of the pair of subway-tiled bathrooms that will be blissful to return to after a long day exploring the area, plus the stunning al fresco soaking bath and shower. There's a dizzying array of ways to fill a day around here. Dromana Beach is only twenty minutes' walk away and a bay trail will take you further along the coastline in either direction. The sprawling nature and scenic points of Arthurs Seat State Park take ten minutes to reach in the car, while the centre of Melbourne will only set you back an hour as well.
