Located just 5 minutes walking distance from downtown, the property also boasts 17-acres of private estate characterized by ample wildlife and rainforests views from its back facade. Since 1976, the Resort has been the #1 venue for all types of events (weddings to corporate) as it features the largest venue facility in Western Belize, the Bedran Hall. The property also boasts a smaller venue, the Caracol Room, that is perfect for hosting small weddings and reunions and a pool area fitting for a cocktail hour. Design: Our banquet and convention center, the Bedran Hall, is the perfect venue for weddings, receptions, conferences, birthday celebrations, and others. Since completing renovations in March 2010, it has been the preferred venue for a variety of personal and business occasions in San Ignacio. Standout Venue Features: Our property is the only luxury Resort located within San Ignacio Town and its historical landmarks but also showcases rainforests views from its 17-acre private estate - a characteristic that has dubbed us "the only jungle in town." Food, Restaurants, Cafes: San Ignacio Resort Hotel is home to the Running W Steakhouse & Restaurant, named Belize's Restaurant of the Year 2016 at the Belize Tourism Board National Industry Awards. The Restaurant provides grass-fed beef from its own family ranch, Running W Brand Meats, alongside a selection of delectable entrées featuring Belizean cuisine, family recipes, vegetarian and vegan options, and personalized dishes. Bars & Lounges: The chic Lobby Bar, one of the newest additions to the Hotel’s facilities, is open to the outdoor dining area of our Running W Steakhouse & Restaurant and offers a modern Baroque design themed décor.
