Our one-of-a-kind location featuring historical buildings, beautiful gardens and vintage charm is sure to be the perfect backdrop for your special day! Forever a dream of ours, my family and I have been busy planning and transforming our historic 1896 farm property since we moved here in 2001. Located just outside of St. Cloud, our 14 acre property features a rolling hillside brimming with majestic oaks, a historic brick farmhouse, several outbuildings and our pride and joy… a large timber-framed barn built in the late 1800s. Our guests will be able to embrace the beauty of nature and make their wedding or event experience as enchanting and elegant as their imaginations allow. Nestled among our namesake majestic oaks and rolling hills, Rolling Ridge Wedding & Event Center is more than just buildings and natural beauty. We are one of Central Minnesota’s most unique wedding and event venues. From relaxing in the Bridal Suite and Rooster’s Roost (our dream of a man cave), taking photos on the picturesque and immaculate grounds, to saying ‘I do’ in the Historic Barn or Rolling Ridge and dining and dancing the night away under the stars, there is no limit to the possibilities.

Inside Scoop

This property was purposed in 2001 by Proprietor Randy Lee Schmitz. Randy is an award winning landscape designer and has spent the last 15 years dreaming, planning and lovingly restoring this historic farm property. Randy spared no expense in renovating the buildings so they could be handicapped acessible and feature moderns ammenities such as luxurious restrooms, fire supression, electric and commercial heating and air-conditioning.

Our mission is to provide a dreamlike location to host events, in an environment that embraces rustic charm, modern elegance and the great outdoors. Bringing guests out of the white and sterile venues of yesteryear and into the great outdoors!

Rolling Ridge has the unique ability to cater to all of the day’s events in one location. We provide a unique list of amenities, including a 16 hour rental starting at 8:00 AM. (Saturdays book quickly).

Unlike most local wedding and event centers, Rolling Ridge is remote enough for privacy yet close to accommodations. “The keys” are handed over at 8am and you and your guests have free range of the grounds. Settle into the comfort of our bridal suite, prepare for the day in climate controlled comfort and pose for unique photographs among our breathtaking backdrops. Welcome your guests and say “I Do” outdoors as you toast to your new adventures in the cocktail lounge & historic barn. Dine and dance the night away under the stars because there’s no limit to the possibilities as your moment is embraced in timeless elegance.

We have an award winning food and beverage service providing delectable favorites- from Simple to Elegant.

Our goal is to make hosting an event as fun and stress-free as possible. Choose anything from a DIY experience to a pre-selected layout. We don’t have a staff of 50 controlling everything, simply a helpful Wedding Coordinator as point of contact and a team that can step in if wanted.

We can easily accommodate up to 300 guests.

The Lone Tree Lounge is located at the heart of Rolling Ridge. Featuring vintage tin ceilings and wallpaper. Our Prohibition styled bar features a full selection of alchoholic libations.
